Some time ago a friend (Thanks Ri) sent me some information about a design competition for east London called Your Ad Here. The only catch being it was only open for another 24 hours!
I thought fuck it, I’m going to enter. I chose a great little shop down the road from me called Snap and worked through the day and night on my submission. Helen Fisher from Snap loved it, we entered and what do you know, it’s up in the park. Nice.
Here’s some blurb about the competition from Create London and Moniker Projects…
‘Your Ad Here is a new project for east London and the large-scale artist designed adverts will be displayed on more than two kilometres of hoardings in and around Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for up to five years. These creative adverts will target the hundreds of thousands of visitors to the Park.
The project is a celebration of the small independent businesses that are such an important part of life in the city; businesses that would not normally have the resources for large-scale advertising. It also sets out to connect them with the large and diverse community of artists in east London and to create partnerships between the business and creative sectors.’

Just rummaging through some old files and I happened upon these icon designs I doodled for Pets At Home magazine.
My poster illustration for Loveflutter, the dating app through which matches are based on odd facts about users rather than looks, commissioned by Christian Sewell at Havass Worldwide London.

It’s the last week of my exhibition at BBH London. Thanks very much Aine Donovan & Louisa Gray.
Using Moo’s Printfinity service I’ve created a set of letterheads that combine to form my portfolio, with every reverse side being a different image of my work. I like the idea that people who receive a letter from me also get a beautifully printed letter-sized poster that hopefully they’ll pin up. The letterhead will then double up as perfectly targeted mini-advert on the walls of lots of great design and advertising agencies. You can read about the collaboration here.

New set of posters commissioned by Edward Povey at placeinprint.com. We wanted to produce a set of posters that avoided the usual clichés of location specific posters in favour of something fresher and more fun. The posters are available to buy here.
